Irises - te Sligte Gardens

We grow over 200 magnificent irises, including dwarfs, intermediate and tall bearded. Weather is always a factor in production, but normally, dwarf irises will start to bloom in early May followed by tall bearded finishing in late June. Some will re-bloom again late summer or early fall.

Choose and order your blooms in May or June and we’ll dig, clean and mail you the rhizomes in time for August planting. Or, if you prefer, pay us another visit and pick them up yourself!

Plants showing ‘NO ID’ or ‘Unknown’ are ones where the hybridizers name is unknown or, we are uncertain of the plant name, and therefore use a ‘garden name’ for record purposes.
